Black Friday & Cyber Monday Car Detailing Deals 2026

What has actually gone on sale in past Novembers, what has not, which purchases are worth waiting for — and our current top picks at their real, date-stamped prices until the deals go live.

By Stephen V.Updated How we research
#ad

We earn a commission when you buy through our Amazon links, at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings, and we say so when the cheaper product is the better buy. How this works.

Status, as of the last update: no Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals are live yet. Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27 and Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30. When detailing deals go live in November, the ones we can verify will be posted on this page — this section will change first. Until then, the prices shown further down are the real, date-stamped Amazon prices of our top picks, not deal prices, and we will not dress them up as anything else.

The rest of this page is built to be useful before a single deal exists. It covers what has historically discounted in this category and what has not, drawn from sources we can link to rather than from memory, and it gives a buy-now-or-wait call for each class of product. Nothing here is a prediction. Where we do not have evidence we say so.

What has historically discounted in car detailing

The clearest pattern in the sources we checked is that chemicals and microfiber are what the detailing retailers and brands put on sale. In a November 2024 Autogeek forum thread where members compiled the sales they had seen, the boutique detailing retailers were running sitewide or tiered codes broadly in the 20 to 30 percent range — Detailed Image at 25 percent, The Rag Company at 20 percent, Ethos at 20 percent sitewide, and Autogeek itself at 20 to 30 percent tiered by order size. For 2025, a Slickdeals post dated November 27 recorded Griot’s Garage offering 30 percent off its liquid car care line — washes, detailers, wheel cleaners, tire dressings, polishes, spray waxes and glass cleaners — with a BFCM code, and a detailing blog’s November 24, 2025 roundup of Amazon deals listed brand-name wash mitts, an iron remover and foam cannons at 15 to 35 percent off. Chemical Guys’ own Black Friday landing page advertises kits at “up to 35%” off. That is consistent with an older data point too: an Adam’s Polishes post from November 2017 offered 20 percent off detailing chemicals and microfiber and 15 percent off everything else — the chemicals discounting harder than the rest of the range.

The second pattern is bundled polisher kits, specifically from the brands that sell direct. A Slickdeals post dated November 24, 2025 listed Griot’s Garage G9 and G8 polisher kits at $149.99 to $249.99 against posted regular prices of $273 to $409 — the discount coming from bundling the machine with pads, chemicals and towels rather than from a cut on the bare tool. If the recipient needs a machine and the consumables, the brand-direct kit in late November has historically been the deal to look for.

What has rarely discounted

Premium polishers as bare tools. In the same 2024 forum thread the only polisher discount anyone reported was 10 percent off Rupes Mark III machines at Autogeek, and one member’s summary was that until high-end cordless polishers see 25 percent off, the sales are “meh.” That matches what we see across the category: the machines people most want discounted — the good dual-actions and the cordless tools — are the products least likely to move, and when they do it is usually as a kit rather than a bare-tool price cut.

Boutique ceramic coatings are a genuine unknown in our sources. Retailer-wide codes in 2024 did not obviously exclude them, but our sources do not confirm that a specific coating was included either, and coating brands often restrict discounting. We will not guess. Inspection lights likewise: we found no consistent Black Friday pattern for them in the sources we checked.

Buy now or wait for November?

A discount only saves money on a purchase you were going to make anyway, and a 25 percent discount on a $15 bottle is under $4. With that in mind, here is our call per product class — a judgment from the history above, not a forecast:

  • Compounds, polishes, waxes, sprays, iron removers buy when you need them. They are the most likely category to be discounted, but the dollar saving is small and the retailers that discount deepest are the brand-direct and boutique stores, not necessarily Amazon. If you are stocking up on several bottles and can wait, November has historically been the time.
  • Microfiber towels and pads wait if you are buying in bulk. Towel specialists have historically run 20 percent codes, and pads are where a larger order makes a percentage discount meaningful.
  • A first polisher, plus pads and chemicals wait for the brand-direct kits if the car can go another two months un-corrected. Bundled kits from the direct-selling brands have historically been the biggest dollar savings in the category.
  • A bare premium polisher or a cordless machine buy when you need it. These have historically discounted least, and a tool you need for a job this month is worth more than a discount that may not come.
  • A ceramic coating decide by weather, not by sales. A coating needs a dry, mild day and hours of prep. If that day is now, buy now. Our sources give no reliable Black Friday history for coatings.

How this page works in November

When deals go live we will list here only the ones we can see on a live product page at the time we post, with the price we observed and the date. We do not publish deals from press releases or coupon-aggregator listings we cannot verify, we do not invent percentages, and the live-price layer under every product card is the same one that runs the rest of the site: pulled from Amazon, stamped with the date, and removed if it goes stale rather than left to mislead. A price that appears on this page is the price we saw, nothing more.

Our links go to Amazon. Several of the deepest historical discounts above were on the brands’ own stores. When that is the better deal, we will say so in the deal listing rather than steer you to a worse one.

Our current top picks, at today’s price

The products below are the current #1 picks from our category pages — the polisher, pads, compound, coating, wax, clay, towels and ceramic spray we would hand a friend today. The price on each is live and date-stamped. It is not a deal price. If a deal on one of them goes live in November, it will be posted at the top of this page.

How to tell a real Black Friday detailing deal from a fake one

Check the price yourself, not the strikethrough

A crossed-out “was” price is a marketing claim, not a history. Before buying anything on this page in November, compare the deal price to the date-stamped price on the product card, which is what the item cost on a normal day this autumn. If they are the same, it is not a deal.

Kits: count the full-size bottles, not the pieces

Bundled polisher kits have historically been the biggest dollar savings, and they are also where piece counts mislead. Four full-size professional bottles are worth a great deal more than a seventeen-piece box of applicators, sample sachets and air fresheners. Our paint correction kit guide explains what a kit genuinely needs to contain.

Size matters more than percentage

A 30 percent discount on an 8 oz bottle can cost more per ounce than the regular price of the 16 oz. Detailing chemicals are routinely sold in several sizes; check the volume before comparing prices.

Pads and plates: confirm the fit first

A pad kit at 35 percent off is a full-price mistake if it does not fit the backing plate. Most consumer dual-action machines take 5.5-inch pads, but not all — our backing plate guide covers the sizes.

Buying gifts

If the purchase is a present, our gift guides do the translating: the flagship gift guide for the whole picture, stocking stuffers, under $50, under $150, and gifts for a new car owner.

How we picked

We do not run a testing lab

We compiled published specifications, manufacturer data sheets and aggregated owner reviews, computed the cost of ownership from real sizes and coverage, then scored each product against a published rubric. The scores are judgments from documented research — they are not measurements we took, because we do not own a lab and we are not going to pretend we do. Where a number came from someone else, we name them and link them in Sources.

Questions

Frequently asked

When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27, 2026. Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. Detailing retailers have historically started their sales in the week before Black Friday and run them through Cyber Monday.
Do car polishers go on sale for Black Friday?
Bare premium polishers have historically discounted least — in the November 2024 forum reports we cite, the only polisher discount mentioned was 10 percent on one professional brand. Bundled polisher kits from direct-selling brands have been a different story: in November 2025 Griot's Garage kits were posted at well below the sum of their parts. If you need the machine and the consumables, the kit is what to watch.
What detailing products discount most on Black Friday?
Chemicals and microfiber, according to every source we checked: 2024 boutique-retailer codes ran broadly 20 to 30 percent, Griot's Garage ran 30 percent off liquid car care in 2025, and Amazon-listed mitts, iron remover and foam cannons showed 15 to 35 percent off in a November 2025 roundup. That is a pattern, not a guarantee for 2026.
Are the prices on this page Black Friday deals?
No. Until deals go live in November, every price on this page is the normal, date-stamped Amazon price of the product, pulled by the same live price layer the rest of the site uses. Deals will be posted at the top of the page when we can verify them.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a ceramic coating?
Decide by the weather, not the sale. A coating needs a dry, mild day and hours of prep, and our sources give no reliable Black Friday history for boutique coatings. If you have the day, buy the coating.
Will this page list deals from brands' own stores?
Our links go to Amazon, but several of the deepest historical discounts have been on brand-direct stores. When a brand-direct deal is clearly better, the listing will say so.
